3:20 am. A bit early today for sahur and getting ready for Fajr. Maybe too early as the mineral waterman was not there yet. Usually otw at one particular stop a man will distribute bottled water for the passerby . He is not there yet I guess.
My back hurts.
Early crowds were more accommodating. Spontaneous sahur groups were established and dispersed in an instant. Chai was available and people seemed relaxed and contented. The atmosphere seems to promise a good day ahead. InsyAllah. Beside my back pain, I feel stronger and still have the energy to get down and dirty.
Late for Zuhr so got diverted towards Mas’aa (place for sa’ie). The sun was scorching hot as I moved faster to escape the heat. Anywhere will do as long as inside the mosque. The saf was already forming in the middle of the sa’ie place and I have to stop and find my place. Soon azan came on the air and the whole place just stalled and prepared for the solat.
The police was screaming all over the place for people to move but we just played dumb and sat idle until iqomah was called.I learnt not to be jumpy at the screaming voice and stay calm and collected until you were the last one sitting or standing there. Then slowly pickup your things and move away. As he turned, boom! Back to the place. Hahaha school juvenile type of actions.
Left the mosque after Asr prayers. A trip of no return. Iftar will be likely on the street just like many of my comrades.
