3:45 am. We were already out and about. Improved from yesterday, alhamdulillah. Friday’s crowd is usually bigger and nastier;by now, we know a little better on how to prepare for it. InsyAllah. Start early, walk fast, avoid clogged junctions and straight to your targeted location. Don’t mill around as you could be trapped in the crowd and lose your precious time and place. Among the millions you will have your own little place in the mosque for you to pray, insyAllah. Put a trust into that and your presence here will be manageable( not entirely problem-free but nothing you cannot handle)
This is our third Friday in Masjidil Haraam, alhamdulillah. Time flies and as the end of Ramadhan approaches, sadness has started to brew in the distant. The return of next year seems too far fetched.
Met two young Malaysians. Spending the whole Ramadhan here, alhamdulillah.
“We are usually kat area new expansion , tak glamour bang!”, I grinned listening on a young man expressing himself—- humble and honest. So they were off and I forgot to ask their names. Most likely we will never cross path again. Not sure why we happened to bump into each other but it was a good start of this beautiful day.
By 11:30 am the place was packed. The weekend visitors from around Tanah Arab flocked to Mecca for umrah. Adding to the already massive crowd in Mecca, it will be one busy weekend for the police to control the masses. But if Allah brought you here there will be a space for you ,InsyAllah. Don’t worry and make doa.
