Although smelling like a horse, I was glad to be down on earth and felt like normal again. Our next destination was a historical site. Travelling through the town we stopped for lunch and prayers.
Burana tower was a minaret of a mosque during ancient time. The place used to be a complex for royal mausoleums. now only the tower has been restored as the excavations continued to reveal new things from the past. As part of the Silk Road, the remnants showed people lived a good life economically and spiritually.
