This one was a speed train. Left the station at 19:40 and ETA SP at 23:40. The crowd was crazy at the station;two of us briefly lost the way but they found us later. Alhamdulillah. We waited  a few minutes and once the platform was displayed we went in stood around until the train pulled into the station. The crowd suddenly converged at the door; no queues, no line. But no one was pushing and they waited their turn patiently. Unlike some tourists from the other side of the wall that would make everything as chaotic as possible so they could do whatever they wanted to.

The crowd was crazy as we joined the rush hours.

Anyway, the ride was smooth and everyone just being polite and quiet. I felt so comfortable that the train lulled me to sleep. This trip is so unique that you can experience all types of trains: the Mongolian sleeper train, the Russian sleeper train, the old Russian sleeper train, double decker sleeper train, metro line, and this speed train. Now I know why some people were obsessed with trains. unlike taking a plane, riding a train gives some freedom to move around and to socialise if you lucky enough to have good cabin mates. Well the solution is easy— choose your mates wisely but to be adventurous you can stick to randomness .

we were here Dr Azizi and Dr Su.

So we left Moscow and all its grandeur with a heavy heart. It’s hard to fall in love with Moscow but the mystery of the people and culture would give you plenty of reasons to come back. I wouldn’t though return to this place as the sin of their leaders towards humanity remains unforgivable. The sadness kept coming to remind me the brutality people had done to the others.

Basically, the Russians were nice and hospitable.Throughout this journey, I felt safe and secured. We had one isolated case, though ,a pick pocket incident  in Ulaanbaatar .

Arrived in St Petersburg at 11:40 right on time. Disembarking was smooth and in ten minutes we were out near the minibus. At the wee hour SP still alive and kicking. People was still out and about doing god knows what. We were taken straight to the hotel and checked in. Tomorrow will be a great day in St Petersburg. InsyaAllah.
