The weather was better than yesterday. The sunlight dazzled through the window early in the morning.I peeked;trying to catch a glimpse of kids walking to school. Across the road a father busy with his toddlers;two in the stroller and two were running around making daddy pissed off. That\u2019s a familiar sight at this hour . Somehow that made me smile for the routines I used to do every morning in Colchester,England about three hours\u2019 drive from here. I hope we would have time to stop by the town and see all the places we used to be. The house, the school, the corner shop, the park and the high street. Maybe we could visit some old friends and neighbours ; they are locals so they should still be there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Itinerary for Day 2.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

All of the sudden I was thinking as if we were \u201cbalik kampung\u201d to meet people and to see places closed to us in the past. So ridiculous and utterly strange. But that\u2019s what life do to us. With good people, their faces remain and shape the story of our life. Somewhere in the end you will read those stories again to yourself and made some happy tears rolled down your cheeks. Now I have another reason for this trip; maybe I need this more than anyone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am always amazed by English countryside. The view mesmerised me every time I look at it. And being here feeling the wind blew on your face would make you alive again\u2014 rejuvenating the old beaten soul that stepped off an airplane a few days ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English villages are old and isolated. But they survive until today and brought along their ancient stories and folklores . We walked through the town square , cobbled streets and old buildings as if we were there a few hundred years ago. So strange and the experience leaves you with more questions of how? Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hate it when questions come to mind because that means I need to find the answers. And I don\u2019t have the time and energy to do that anymore. So I left and ended my day confused and somewhat angry. The day has been long, the sun has started to set and I need my nasi and sambal daging more than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheltenham, England<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We stopped by Sudeley Castle but were too late, it closed already. The entrance fee was a bit expensive for us (20 pounds x 4= 80 x 5= 400 ringgit). For a stroll in a garden and looking at broken walls that\u2019s too much. Hehehe biasala budget tourists. So that\u2019s it we\u2019re done for today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
