A wet morning<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The journey home took off after midnight.The road was wet from a brief rain earlier. A few accidents occurred along the way but we passed by hoping for the victims to be okay. It was in the early hours so traffic was minimal. We did not stop and continue with our journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

rarely drove at night, I found it lonely and damn scary. No views whatsoever only a long stretch of darkness. But I know now I could talk to other drivers through the headlights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c A double flashed emergency lights\u201d means thanks for giving ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c A double head lights\u201d means move aside I\u2019m coming through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA long strong horn sound\u201d means fuck you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA blip \u201c means move bro the light is green. < or we just wait impatiently because even a blip may sound rude><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c A flash of headlights\u201d means your high beam is killing me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amidst morning drizzles we arrived in Gua Musang. My eyes were tired and my ass is burning. The sound from dashboard camera kept telling me to rest as the recording has been on for more than four hours.Yep! it was time to pause and take a rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mosque tower was bright from afar and I searched for the entrance, Wow! what a beautiful mosque\u2014 modern and (still) clean. We prayed Fajr there and used the toilets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As usual the Gua-Musang-Wakaf Bharu stretch was boring and tiring. We had to put up with local driving habits and terrible road condition. By the time we reached town everone was up and time for grocery shopping at the morning markets. The traffic has started to build up at every junction and at every breakfast stall. We swarmed the coffee shops and stalls for breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
