Driving is fun even when you are travelling in a foreign country . You can go far away off the usual tourist spots . But there is one tiny issue when you are in Europe, they drive on the other side of the road. And that would unravel the whole driving skills that you earned all this time. The highway was pretty much easy to handle but once you exited and went on the local roads the mind gobbling road signs and structures would appear. The most devastating ones are the roundabouts. At every intersection they put this thing and you must manoeuvre accordingly; enter on the right!. Well the first few hours was okay I could think properly but as my mind wore off ,tired and sleepy , my Malaysian mode took over.I entered the roundabout wrongly. Another car was there and I almost panicked. I reversed in the middle of the road and drove off. Took another way to the camp site. Phewwww! lucky me nothing bad happened. They did not even horn me for the mistake. Everyone was shocked I guess and stopped to let this moron correct his bad driving.

It’s okay I told myself; shit happened and you were trying your best to help this journey finds it’s memorable moments. Don’t feel bad I kept telling myself. The trauma was pretty bad but kept under the cover as we had a long way into this journey. After another miss to the entrance, we were finally there at the campsite. That was the end of my driving in Europe.
